Nothing wrong with being friendly and speaking with intelligence on the job. She has a lot of mix feelings.Son is probably longing for a male in his life, and she is scared to let you be a friend to him. If it don't fit, don't force it. Give her some room and let her chase, and come after you. Then you will know if you are on the right road, or track. Let her chase you for a second. Be intelligent, courteous, but avoid having long drawn-out, seeking her conversation, and mannerism at work. Stand back, and wait. She'll want to know why you are standing back, then simply tell her in a nice way. You want someone who want you. If she disagrees you haven't lost anyone that wanted you. Move on. Too many women out there to have to chase one. I don't think she gotten over her ex's. Be careful.
