My cat has a swollen cheek!? ?

It is like right where his little mussel thing meets his head. And the inside of his mouth has a little cut. What can I do? Any ideas on what it is? Don't say take him to the vet, cuz I can't and don't say if I can't you shouldn't have an animal because I use to be able to take him to the vet. He's seems to be fine, no meowing or anything he even let's me touch and press the bump and he doesn't back up meow or hiss. He hasn't lost his appetite and is still eating. Any ideas on what this could be.!
