Does anyone remember that home-video they showed on TV back in the 90's of aliens attacking a family?

It was a home-video of aliens attacking a family in their home. It was shown on the news I think. And I think they made a big deal about it, like advertised that they were going to show this video and everything... I was pretty young but I remember it being pretty long. Like, they showed the whole video of a few family members running around outside and stumbling upon aliens in the bushes, and walking toward them in the yard and then going inside and the aliens coming in and everything. I remember it looking pretty real and parts of it were fuzzed out (because electronics always go crazy in these alien situations, right?) and some of the family members were hypnotized or something... I don't remember it too well. That's about all I can recall... Anyway, I'm trying to find it on the interwebs so I can watch it again. It scared the crap out of me back then, I think I slept in my parents' bed that night. Anyone able to help?
