Will I be able to drive after smoking weed?

I've only smoked once before (in February), and I also drank, got the spins, so I don't really know how I react to weed. Though, I know multiple people who can drive while high, and act fairly normal. Is it possible to get high and drive? Or to get high, but drive after it wears off (how long does it take for it to wear off?) Thanks!
