NBA 2k11 my player shot meter decreases the more i shoot?

i make a lot of shots then my shot meter gets low and i get worse then i cant break a hundred but in my other my player i was able to several times but i don't have the player anymore this time i'm an al around sg but last time i was a scoring sg is that why because i wanna break a hundred and also why don't they say in the interview that i broke an nba record instead of a team record all they say is team record
