Do snakes recognize/remember individual people by scent and or sight?

I'm pretty sure they do I bought my ball python in Lodi at the serpenterium and they said to hold it constantly for a few days to make a bond with it and my snake is exactly the same way but hope this helped sorry if it's not the exact answer you wanted though
